It is exceptionally rare to find a stone that has none of nature’s markings, known as ‘inclusions.’  Often Invisible to the naked eye, they can be identified under a jeweller’s loupe as minute-shaped clouds, feathers or crystals.  The fewer and smaller these inclusions, the rarer and more precious the diamond becomes.

Clarity measures the number, size, position and colour of inclusions, on a scale that ranges from imperfect, to flawless.
